Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner Sidcup

Level 2 or Level 3  nursery practitioner is required at Family Tree Day Nursery in Sidcup DA14 5JR and Sidcup Day Nursery and Forest School DA14 6QL

Duties include supporting the room leaders in each of the age groups, children’s observations, occasionally leading the room when required, liaising with parents, following safeguarding policies, following all other nursery policies and sometimes taking part in training.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

• CACHE Diploma or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare
• Previous experience working and caring for children under 5
• Passion to deliver high quality childcare and exciting learning opportunities for the children

Person Specification

• Previous childcare experience with age three months to 5 years
• Affinity with young children
• Knowledge of the new Early Years Foundation Stage
• Good communication skill
• Ability to work as a reliable member of the team, developing positive relationships with colleagues, parents, children and outside agencies
• Ability to take responsibility for your base room in Room Leader’s absence
• Prepared to undertake professional development as appropriate
• Knowledge of Safeguarding children
• Knowledge of Health & Safety
