The preparation and completion of activities to suit each individual child’s stage of development and interests
· To develop your role within the team especially as a key person
· To keep up to date observations and planning records for children
· To ensure that meal times are a time of pleasant social sharing
· Washing and changing children as required
· Ensuring a poorly child is kept calm and warm and management is notified
immediately in order for the child to be collected.
· To develop and maintain strong positive partnerships and communications with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs
· To provide detailed verbal feedback to parents about their child’s day
· To ensure parents are aware of any situations that have arisen during the day, which may involve their child
· To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history
· To supervise and assist all children with routines and activities
Skills & Qualifications :
- NVQ Level 3 Practitioner
- First Aid desirable
- Strong Safeguarding Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of EYFS
