Nursery Practitioner – Croydon CR2

Hullabaloo are working with a day nursery , who are looking to recruit a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner on behalf of a quality private Day Nursery based near South Croydon, London. The successful candidate must be passionate and dedicated with a real want to work and develop young children.

Key Purposes of the role include:

• To have a strong understanding of the EYFS and how it informs your practice
• To be a key worker for a group of children providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment in order to promote each child’s development (social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual) to the best of his/her potential
• Actively participate in planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate and effective children’s profiles with observations and development records
• To work within statutory requirements of the nurseries policies and procedures,
• To be able to work successfully in partnership with parents for the benefit of their children.
• Demonstrate good teamwork and communication within the Nursery environment

• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children

Requirements:

• A level 3 NNEB, NVQ, Cache or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare qualification
• A sound understanding of the latest EYFS framework.
• A working knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies.
• Good communication skills with both children and adults
