We are currently recruiting for our beautiful brand-new nursery in Parsons Green (SW6)!

What We Are Looking For
Benevolence and altruism are the essential qualities of a childcare worker. You must have an excellent sense of listening skills, your main role being to secure and comfort.
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic early years educator, who can lead by example and ensure the effective day to day running of an allocated room.

About you
- You will be able to deliver effective management and inspirational leadership of an allocated room.
- Previous Experience as a Room Leader, or Deputy Room Leader (preferably in preschool room)
- You will have a full and relevant qualification in Early Years at Level 3 or above.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Early Years setting
- A confident knowledge of safeguarding and relevant procedures
- A robust knowledge of the requirements of the EYFS
- An ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team.
- An ability to lead and motivate others.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead on the curriculum delivery within an allocated room, and to ensure that practice and provision in the room meets the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Maintaining a safe, organised, accessible, and enabling environment.
- Ensuring that procedures for planning, observation and assessment are followed by everyone working in the allocated room.
- Providing a strong role model for colleagues, and children, demonstrating outstanding teaching practice to all.
- Ongoing monitoring, reflection, and evaluation of the quality of education, using the benchmarks of Ofsted’s Early Years Inspection Handbook.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the Parsons House Nursery Curriculum.
- To work in positive, professional partnerships with parents or carers; and support and motivate others in the team to do the same.
To work as a Key Person to a group of children, building warm, supportive relationships with children based on trust and respect; maintaining children’s records on their achievement and supporting those children to make excellent progress
