Senior Childcare Assistant

Hours available
8:30-5:30 Mon to Fri or can offer part time hours
3-6 for Afterschool school club support. (This could be a student looking for a future career in childcare)

I am looking for someone special to work with me in my small childminding business. I look after very special little people and provide engaging, child centred activities based around their needs in a home environment.

The successful candidate must be caring, flexible, and have a real love of working with children. Being safety conscious and willing to complete a safeguarding course organised by me is a requirement. Experience is desirable but not essential if you are willing to learn.
An enhanced DBS is a requirement of the role.

Duties include setting up/clearing planned activities, supporting children’s needs and their learning and reporting to parents. As it is a home environment some duties will include small housework tasks.
