Nurseries are interesting and unique places, they can be busy, noisy, fun and challenging. A typical day in a nursery is marked by a regular set of tasks and duties which change over the course of the weeks/months but on the main follow a routine working with the other staff. Childcare Qualifications are usually offered on a part-time as well as full-time basis at colleges and universities (depending upon the level of the qualification being studied). It may be possible to gain a Nursery Nurse or Early Years Educator qualifications through an apprenticeship.

Offer childcare training whilst working a nursery setting. Known as a NVQ Level 2 and 3. You will have a few days a week at a day nursery on placement and then have time to complete the coursework. This can be done mostly online or attending the college in person . The Course times vary but usually allow up to 18 months to complete.
